Byzantine bracelet

A long-long time ago my granddad gave my nan a chain with very beautiful pattern. I was mesmorized by it since then.  And now, when I started to learn about chainmaille I've found this pattern. It is called Byzantine.

Here is my byzantine chain. I've used 3 colours for the wire - silver, gold and copper.

Daisy chain choker and bracelet

Here is a daisy choker and bracelet

This is japanese 12 in 2 weave. I only had to open and close large rings.

There are a few more chainmaille weaves to learn - byzantine, persian and elfweave. I am sure there are more weaves I haven't discovered yet...

I am so in love with chainmaille!

Dragon's bracelet

I've attached the clasp to the bracelet today and ready to show off. I am loving it!

While I was learning this pattern I've discovered an on-line tutorial that shows how to make this dragonscale pattern almost twise faster then in the book I have.

Chain maille bracelet

Recently I've discovered a new jewellery making technic - chain maille or chainmail. It looks like there is no agreement about the exact spelling.

As my first attempt I've created this lovely bracelet.
