Diamond chainmaille earrings

I've made these earrings and timed myself how long does it take to make them. So here is my result - it took me just under an hour to make these earrings.

The silver plated version is currently on sale in my Etsy shop.

I also plan to make gold-plated version and all 3 metals mixed to match the bracelet

More earrings to choose from

I've made some differently looking chainmail earrings. Triangular earrings are very popular and I decided to make different style earrings.

Custom order #2

I was asked to make this jewellery set for a wedding for mother-of-the-bride. She chose this stunning set from Scott David Plumlee's books

This is how it all started:
  • I've ordered quite a lot of sterling silver wire and findings
  • I've coilled all wire and made a lot if rings (about 1300 of them) using drill, knitting needles and jewler's saw

After all rings were ready I started to weave and stopped before finishing, to make sure bracelet and necklace fit perfectly. I had to remove one section in bracelet and add 3 sections to the necklace.

Before attaching Svarowsky crystals I've polished all items in special solution. It all became very shiny.

Crystalls are attached with tiger wire.

Earrings

Once I attended a free taster course on jewelry making. We were told always make a draft chart of what we are doing in case we drop the item we are making and lose all the beads all over the floor.

This was my week attempt to create my own draft.
To be honest I've made one earring, draw a chart of it and then made another one.

The metal parts of these earrings are made of gun metal. We were told that now all metal findings are made out of metal that does not cause allergy.

Polymer clay necklace and earrings

My very good friend Zu gave me some of her magic beads for my birthday. Purple is my favourite colour.

One sunny Saturday I was sitting in my garden and the idea of creating this kind of necklace came to me. I ran into the house to get my tool box and this is what I've created. I like it very much!
